Abuse counselling in Glasgow at your pace

Support for recent and historical abuse. Trauma-informed counselling. Online or in-person sessions.

My unique qualities

You won't be rushed

I don't expect you to tell your whole story in one sitting. I give you room to speak when you're ready and pause when you need to.

Your sessions stay personal

I shape my counselling around your experience of abuse and its effects on your life. That keeps the work grounded in what actually matters to you.

You can speak without fear of judgement

Many people carry guilt or confusion after abuse that was never theirs to hold. I offer a calm, confidential space where you can begin to put that weight down.

A safe place to work through abuse

Abuse can leave deep marks on how you feel, think, and trust, long after the event itself has passed. I offer abuse counselling for people affected by emotional, physical, or sexual abuse, including both recent experiences and those that reach far back into the past. My trauma-informed approach means I work at your pace, because pushing you before you're ready can do more harm than good.

In Glasgow, I create a confidential space where you can speak openly without pressure or judgement. Caring Counselling is here to help you make sense of what happened and how it still affects your daily life. That might mean talking through fear, shame, panic, numbness, or the strain abuse can place on your relationships and sense of self.

Counselling shaped around your pace

Some people need time before they can name what happened, and I respect that from the start. I use an integrative approach, which means I draw on the main counselling modalities and personalise sessions around you rather than forcing you into a fixed method.

I support clients with concerns, including addiction counselling and anger management, as well as other personal challenges. If meeting face to face feels like too much, I can also talk to you online. You decide what to share, when to share it, and what to focus on first.
